49 Zjazd Fizyków Polskich 2025 będzie gościć w Katowicach. Konferencja odbędzie się w dniach od piątku 5 września do czwartku 11 września 2025 włącznie.
- 5 września - przyjazdy i rejestracja
- Poranna uroczysta sesja 6 września odbędzie się w Filharmonii Śląskiej z udziałem gościa honorowego - laureatki Nagrody Nobla w 2023 roku, prof. Anne l'Huillier.
- Weekend 6-7 września główna tematyka - dydaktyka, działalność młodych naukowców, duże eksperymenty
- 8-11 września - sesje tematyczne, sesje dla młodych naukowców
- TBA - 2 sesje wyjazdowe w Planetarium - Śląskim Parku Nauki.

The 49th Congress of Polish Physicists is organised in 2025 in Katowice. The conference will be held from Friday, 5th September, to Thursday, 11th September 2025.
- 5th September - arrivals and registration
- the opening ceremony takes place during the morning session on Saturday, 6th September, in the Silesian Philharmonic building. The guest of honour of the conference, prof. Anne l'Huillier, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics 2023, will give a special lecture.
- the main topics covered during the weekend of 6th-7th September 2025 are physics teaching, the coverage of physical topics in mass media, the propagation of research results in popular form, the achievements of young scientists and the biggest physics centres in the world.
- from 8th September on - topical sessions, young scientists' sessions
- the date TBA - 2 sessions outside of the main venue in the Planetarium - Silesian Science Park.

Projekt "Od Atomów do Społeczności: ogólnokrajowy konkurs dla studentów na najlepsze wystąpienie i poster z zakresu wykorzystania fizyki w różnych dyscyplinach naukowych - InnoFusion" został dofinansowany przez Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowską Metropolię w ramach Programu "Metropolitalny Fundusz Wspierania Nauki".
